Heart & Scroll Contests

MAGIC MOMENT CONTEST 2008

Send us the first ten pages of your manuscript and
we'll give you the benefit of our expertise.  All
entries are judged by three experienced judges. This
is your chance to see how your writing stacks up! The
Magic Moment Contest specializes in personal
critiques.

Final Judge: Chris Keeslar, Senior Editor, Dorchester
Books.
Prizes: First Place Winner: $100.00 plus a
certificate. Second Place, Third Place, and Honorable
Mention will receive certificates.

CONTEST RULES:
This contest is open to all writers not published in
the last five years.

FORMAT:
A)  Your entry must include FOUR copies of the first
TEN PAGES of your manuscript.
B)  Entries must be submitted in proper manuscript
format with the title and page number in the header.
DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON ANY MANUSCRIPT PAGES.
C)  You must include a completed and signed entry form
with each entry.
D)  You must include a check for the entry fee made
out to Heart and Scroll for each entry.
E)  You must enclose a SASE with correct postage for
the return of your manuscript and score sheets.


DEADLINE:
Entries must be postmarked by April 1, 2008.
FEES:
$25.00 for RWA members.
$30.00 for non-RWA members.
